This post signifying the opposite of free enterprise just caught my eye:
It's an old article (from 2011) but still pertains today. I don't think people realize that excess dependence on the government is how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

The United States needs people with a good work ethic to quick whining and start plugging away, and we need to hang onto our supposed Free Enterprise system for as long as we can.
Do All That You Can!
None of use may ever achieve all of our dreams, but we need to prioritize as a nation and decide what impact we want to have while alive. I hate to say this but it's so true:
We really do only have one life to live and we really need to make the most of it.
What If Our Lives Aren't Going Very Well?
I myself am currently processing lemonade from the lemons that are my life. I have no idea if I'll ever even have a happy ending -- at least not when evaluating my life from external factors such as family relationships, social status, or success level.
However, at least I have my physical health and can still type this blog post! For as long as I can do that I'll continue to write. I'll continue to speak out and share with the world how it could become a better place.
Will I succeed in my lifetime? Who knows. All I can do is try, right? That's all anyone of us can do as we work towards preserving this free enterprise system.
