Irene Storm Rages on, Damage in Vermont, North Carolina, and More

The hurricane/tropical storm Irene still continues to rage on. The damage to the coast is never-ending, so it seems. Lives are taken and threatened, businesses and homes are now damaged, walkways buried, and electrical power lost. Not to forget, the streets are massively flooded everywhere this hurricane/tropical storm hits.

Also, take a look on the effects that hurricane Katrina has six years later (vacant homes still for sale, abandoned "ghostown" which was once a thriving coastal location). On the other hand, there are hope and plans for a brighter future for this location.
